When you need a file rather than a link, export your canvas to a high-resolution PDF or PNG. This is ideal for client presentations, decks, and offline handoff.

Export the canvas

1

Open the export dialog

From the project, open the export option.
2

Choose a format

Pick PDF or PNG.
3

Set options

Adjust quality and background, and choose whether to include connectors and comments.
4

Export

BenchCanvas generates a high-resolution file for download.

PDF or PNG

PDF

Recommended for canvases with lots of flows or screens. Keeps large maps crisp and easy to navigate.

PNG

Best for a single high-resolution image to drop into a slide or doc.

Export options

  • Quality: control the resolution of the output.
  • Background: choose the background for the exported image.
  • Connectors: include or hide the connections between screens.
  • Comments: include or hide comments.

Export a single screenshot

To export just one screen rather than the whole canvas, use the download or copy options in the properties panel. See Screenshots.

Export to Figma

To import frames, stickies, comments, and connectors into a Figma Design file, use Export to Figma and the BenchCanvas Import Figma plugin.
During the private beta, high-resolution PDF and PNG export is available on the Free plan. Removing branding from share links is part of the paid plans. See Plans.
