BenchCanvas helps you keep flows readable, whether you let it arrange screens automatically or fine-tune positions yourself.

Automatic layout

When a capture finishes, screens are placed automatically based on how they connect, so the flow reads cleanly from start to finish. You can re-apply automatic layout at any time to tidy a flow after editing. You can also trigger layout from the chat:
  • /layout applies the default arrangement.
  • /layout vertical arranges screens top to bottom.
  • /layout horizontal arranges screens left to right.

Manual positioning

Screens are unlocked by default, so drag any screen to reposition it. Positions persist, including when you expand a flow with new screens.

Align and distribute

Select multiple screens to reveal alignment and distribution controls:

Align

Snap selected screens to the same edge or center, horizontally or vertically.

Distribute

Space selected screens evenly to fix uneven gaps.
Combine automatic layout for the overall structure with manual alignment for the finishing touches before you export or share.
