BenchCanvas is in private beta. The Free plan is active today, and paid plans are on the way.

## During the beta

Today, the Free plan gives you generous access so you can put BenchCanvas through its paces, including AI features, [high-resolution export](/share/export), and [project collaboration](/collaborate/project-collaboration) with editor and viewer roles. [Credits](/credits/overview) are rolling out gradually and are marked as beta throughout these docs.

## Credits vs plans

Plans and [credits](/credits/overview) are separate. Plans define your overall feature access and monthly AI allowances, while credits are an in-app currency for individual capture and AI actions during the beta.
