# Screenshots

> Choose desktop or mobile, viewport or full page, and replace or download screenshots.

Every screen carries a screenshot. BenchCanvas gives you control over how screenshots are captured and lets you replace or export them.

## Screenshot variants

You can capture a screen in different formats:

| Option       | Choices                                                                  |
| ------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| **Device**   | Desktop or mobile                                                        |
| **Coverage** | Viewport (what fits on screen) or full page (the entire scrollable page) |

Combine these to get the view you need, for example a mobile full-page screenshot of a pricing page.

<Tip>
  Full-page screenshots are best for analysis because AI reports and visual reviews can see content below the fold, not just what is above it.
</Tip>

## Capture all at once

When you generate a new flow, you can capture every screenshot in one go, in the format you choose, instead of doing them one at a time.

## Replace or recapture

If a screenshot rendered poorly or the page has changed, open the screen's [properties panel](/canvas/properties-panel) and replace the screenshot with a fresh capture. You can also switch the variant when you replace.

## Download and copy

From the properties panel you can:

* **Download** the screenshot as a PNG.
* **Copy** the image to your clipboard as a PNG to paste into a design tool, slide deck, or AI chat.

## Hide sensitive info

Before you share a project, you can redact personal data on a screenshot (emails, names, account numbers, and similar). Open the screenshot options and choose **Redact personal data**. See [Hide sensitive info](/canvas/hide-sensitive-info).

For exporting the whole canvas, see [Export](/share/export).
