# Using BenchCanvas on mobile

> What you can do on a phone or tablet, and when to switch to desktop.

BenchCanvas now works on mobile. It is a lighter version of the desktop experience, but it is usable for many everyday tasks when you are away from your laptop.

## What works on mobile

* **Browse projects**: open and review projects you already have.
* **Create new projects**: start a new capture from a URL.
* **Generate screenshots**: capture or refresh screenshots for screens in a flow.
* **Share**: copy share links and send your work to teammates or clients.
* **Sign in**: use the 6-digit email code or email and password. See [Sign in](/sign-in).

## What works best on desktop

The infinite canvas, advanced capture options, AI chat, canvas editing tools, and collaboration workflows are designed for a larger screen and a pointer. If you need to rearrange screens, run slash commands, generate insight reports, or compare multiple flows side by side, desktop is the better choice.

## Tips for mobile

* Use mobile to check on a capture, share a link quickly, or review a flow on the go.
* Switch to desktop when you need the full canvas, AI analysis, or detailed editing.
* If a page feels cramped, rotate to landscape or open the same project on desktop for the full layout.
